Shine Hayama

As Vice President of Club Development  Shine aims to increase the quantity and diversity of individuals actively involved in W.P. Carey (WPC) events and organizations. She is responsible for collecting routine demographic data of the involved WPC population, conducting face-to-face meetings with all the WPC Presidents, and planning and executing larger-scale events for all WPC students. She continually works to improve participation throughout the business college, collaborating closely with Business School advisors and the WPC dean to ensure measurable progress.

Outside of the Business School Council, Shine is an active member of the Student Entrepreneurship Organization. 

 As Shine reflects on her time within the Business School Council she happily remembers the sand volleyball social and mentions that “ It has been fantastic to be involved with BSC. I made new friends, and another family at WPC.”
