Akhil Choda

As Vice President of Events, Akhil plans and leads the organization's large-scale events, including the W. P. Carey Welcome Back Carnival, Homecoming Parade, Philanthropy Week Gala, and End-of-Year Banquet. He also organizes internal socials that strengthen connections among BSC members throughout the year.

Outside of BSC, Akhil is President of the Investment and Finance Association, a member of the Arizona Microcredit Initiative, and a McCord Scholar.

Akhil joined BSC during his first semester at W. P. Carey, where the organization helped him find his place within the business school community and showed him that college is about more than academics. Through BSC, he has built meaningful friendships and professional connections that have shaped his college experience. He shares, "My favorite part has been the ability to mentor and guide other members through the mentor-mentee program and other social activities."
