What is Compliance? How does the role of Compliance function in business? How can I break into the Compliance field? Is Compliance the role for me?
The Compliance Society is a dedicated organization for all graduate and undergraduate students interested in exploring careers in compliance, networking with compliance professionals, and gaining insider knowledge on a prosperous field that's involved in all business industries and practices.
As a sister club to the Undergraduate Law Association, the Compliance Society takes it a step further towards the more niche direction where law, management, and ethics intersect.
At this club, we bring in compliance specialists as guest speakers and learn about the many different fields of compliance and how to break into them. Our goal is to not only to help develop members' knowledge of professionalism within the workplace but to also help students position themselves to have an educated head start in pursuing a career in the fast-growing field of compliance.
We value networking and learning from and supporting each other. With a multitude of different compliance practices ranging from HR Compliance to IT Compliance to Regulatory Compliance to Health and Safety Compliance and so on - we are determined in helping each other succeed in the compliance field and foster a community of pre-compliance professionals.
Compliance professionals are more in-demand than ever and are increasingly needed as technology, government policies, and business practices change. With that understanding, our club is determined to help you triumph in the innovative field of compliance.
Open to all students - undergraduate & graduate. No Dues/Joining Fee. No Major/Minor Requirement.
