ACEL Collegiate Chapter at ASU

ACEL Collegiate Chapter at ASU

The Asian Corporate & Entrepreneur Leaders (ACEL) at ASU is a collegiate chapter of the premier national-wide, non-profit organization dedicated to developing future Asian American and Pacific Islander leaders.

We provide students with a professional platform to build career-ready skills through executive speaker series, mentorship opportunities, and networking events that connect campus life to the corporate world.

By focusing on the "Three Pillars" of professional development, community service, and entrepreneurship, we empower members of all majors to become impactful leaders in their respective industries.

When do you meet?

Biweekly, on Thursday 5 - 7 PM, at Wilson Hall 226, Tempe Campus

How should I contact you?

Why should I join?

ACEL offers a unique blend of professional growth and community. When you join, you gain access to:  Professional Development: Level up your career readiness with monthly professional guest speakers. These industry experts share insights into their specific fields, teach essential skills, and discuss what students should know to succeed. Topics include mastering the art of networking, building a powerful personal brand, internship panels, and more!  Networking & Socials: It’s not all work! Build genuine connections and find your community through our regular hangouts, mixers, and social events.  Community Engagement: Give back and get involved through exclusive volunteer opportunities with other ACEL chapters, connecting you to the professional community beyond the campus.  A Lifelong Network: Gain a competitive edge by connecting with a powerful network of alumni and senior students who have real-world experience in entrepreneurship, business, and career development.

How do I become a member?

Joining ACEL is a seamless process designed to be accessible to all students, regardless of their major or point of entry during the academic year. We offer two primary ways to get involved:  General Membership:   - Attend an Event: We invite you to join us at any upcoming meeting or social mixer to experience our community firsthand. All events are open to the entire ASU student body.

 - Register on Sun Devil Central: Visit our profile on Sun Devil Central and click the "Join" button. This adds you to our official roster and ensures you receive our newsletters and event updates.

 - Stay Connected: Follow us on social media and check Sun Devil Central regularly for the most up-to-date information on meeting locations and guest speaker announcements.

Leadership & Committee Opportunities:  - For students looking to take a more active role in the organization, we recruit for Committee Positions on a semester basis. Serving on a committee allows you to gain hands-on experience in areas such as event planning, marketing, and corporate relations. Please reach out to our executive board via our club contact information to learn about the current application cycle and available roles.

Which majors are allowed to join?

Everyone! ACEL encourages students of all majors and backgrounds to join.   We believe that business skills, like leadership, networking, and strategic thinking, should not be limited to a specific group. Whether you are in Arts, STEM, Healthcare, or Education, you are welcome to learn and grow with us.
